Ash, Misty y Brock se dirigen hacia la Isla Canela, mientras caminan en medio de un bosque seguidos por Jigglypuff, de repente se encuentran en medio de una persecución, aparece un ladrón, Ash intenta detenerlo con Pikachu pero éste no accede al ver que está armado, llega un Growlithe que empuja al ladrón, luego Pikachu usa impactrueno hacia el hombre, pero un grupo de Growlithe rodean a los héroes, unos policías y una Oficial Jenny/Agente Mara aparecen y les dice que el ladrón solo era un policía entrenando en la patrulla canina.
