Todo comienza cuando nuestros héroes agotados por el largo en un desierto llegan a Ciudad Neón, una ciudad la cual esta abierta las 24 horas del día; mientras caminan por la ciudad Ash se choca con un rockero que caminaba en dirección contraria, este le grita y empiezan a discutirse hasta que son separados por la Oficial Jenny que también presenta síntomas de irritabilidad y que explica de que en esta ciudad sus habitantes tienen malhumor porque se quedan despiertos toda la noche.
