En el camino se divisa algo acercándose. A medida que se acerca, se descubre la figura de un Hitmonchan. De repente se detiene en un árbol cercano, mientras que una niña mira al tipo que sigue a Hitmonchan (su entrenador). Ash y los demás se asombran, pensando que es un Hitmonchan salvaje. Ash le dice a Pikachu que si puede derrotar a Hitmonchan, será un campeón del mundo de Pokémon. Sin embargo, Pikachu sólo se imagina a sí mismo recibiendo una paliza. Ash dice que va a enseñar a Pikachu su golpe secreto.
