El capitulo comienza cuando Ash, Misty y Brock van andando por el bosque. De repente ven a un montón de gente esperando en una puerta (ese lugar es el Recinto Sagrado de Ho,Oh) para ver salir la antorcha con el fuego de Ho-oh y dar comienzo la Conferencia Plateada/Congreso Plata. Pero en ese momento un hombre sale por la puerta y les comunica a todos que la salida de la antorcha se va a retrasar, entonces en ese momento Pikachu y Togepi salen corriendo y entran por la puerta.
