Nuestros héroes continúan su viaje por las Islas Remolino, ahora se encuentran en Ciudad Ogi corriendo para poder alcanzar el único barco que los llevaría a Isla Roca Roja pero desafortunadamente lo pierden. En eso le preguntan a un marino cuando sale el siguiente barco, pero este les dice que solo sale uno al día, por lo que deben esperar hasta mañana. Luego aparece una chica llamada Luka quien se dedica a estudiar a los Pokémon que habitan en estas aguas y decide llevarlos en su barco antiguo.
