El episodio comienza cuando Ash, Misty y Brock se dirigían rumbo a ciudad Iris. Donde su camino se vio obstaculizado por unos barriles de leche que estaban rodando hacia ellos, que para su suerte estaban vacíos. Después del incidente, el conductor, llamado Carter y que era el dueño de los barriles, les dijo que para recompensarlos, él los llevaría a un pueblo que está cerca de ciudad Iris. Carter los lleva hasta una plataforma donde hay un dirigible que los llevará a ciudad Ecruteak.
