Al llegar a Ciudad Ecruteak se detienen un rato para descansar y comer algo. Misty le informa a Ash que recibió un e-mail de Sakura diciendo que ella vendría a saludarlos. De repente aparece un Espeon corriendo hacia ellos y ahí es cuando llega Sakura quien saluda a sus amigos después de tanto tiempo y les muestra a su Eevee evolucionado en Espeon; Brock afirma que ahora ella y sus hermanas tienen todas las evoluciones de Eevee. Sakura lleva a los protagonistas a descansar un rato y ven a sus hermanas que se estaban por ir a su clase de danza.
