Todo comienza mientras Ash es convertido por unos segundos en Ashachu todavía y sus amigos caminaban en el bosque; el efecto se va pero terminan perdiéndose en el bosque hasta que fueron engañados por el Team/Equipo Rocket, haciendo que Pikachu quedara débil pues gastó toda su energía para destruir una máquina que el Equipo Rocket había conseguido para capturarlo.
