Nuestros héroes continúan su viaje a Ciudad Cedro mientras Ash sigue portando el huevo que Shellby le dio esperando a que eclosione, mientras tanto el Team Rocket planea robar el huevo de Ash imaginando que dentro podrían encontrar algún Pokémon legendario como alguna de las Aves legendarias, así que los siguen. De repente inicia una tormenta eléctrica, por lo que deciden pasar la noche en un Centro Pokémon cerca de ahí.
