Ash y sus amigos continúan su viaje navegando con Lapras hasta que se encuentran una botella con un mensaje dentro en el océano, cuando la abren descubren que está escrito por una tal Marisa (de la Isla Sunburst), que busca información acerca del "Onix de cristal". Nuestros héroes llegan a la isla Sunburst y se encuentran con que es un lugar donde los artistas soplan el cristal, y cuyos trabajos son comprados por gente de todo el mundo.
