Ash ketchum, Misty y Tracey llegan a las 7 Islas Toronja/Islas Pomelo montados en Lapras con la compañía de Pikachu y Togepi, y Jigglypuff quien los sigue a nado. Al llegar a tierra firme, Ash coge una toronja/pomelo de un árbol para comérselo, pero de repente llega Ruby atacándolo con un palo para evitarlo, ya que ella piensa que ellos son tres ladrones de toronjas/pomelos que han estado robándole desde hace tiempo. Ash y sus amigos se defienden de la acusación y se disculpan.
