Ash y sus amigos viajan por una zona desértica en Isla Mandarina Sur e intentan llegar a Isla Trovita pero no esperaban que se cansarían tan rápido y para colmo el siguiente pueblo estaba tan lejos que a pie llegarían mañana por la mañana.
En eso se topan con una tormenta eléctrica e intentan refugiarse en una gran roca y cuando estaban a punto de ser alcanzados por un trueno son protegidos por un grupo de Magnemite que absorben los rayos y un Jolteon.
