Ash, Misty y Tracey se habían tomado el día libre para descansar en una isla. Pikachu, Togepi y Psyduck estaban montados en el lomo de Lapras (este último durmiendo), cuando de repente, Psyduck (durmiendo) se cae al agua y luego se hunde.
