El episodio comienza cuando Ash Ketchum y sus amigos llegan a la Isla Murcott montados en Lapras. De repente pasa un Beedrill volando sobre la cabeza de Misty, la cual se asusta al ver que era un Beedrill enorme y que deberían irse, a lo cual Tracey responde que no, porque el motivo por el que están ahí es para admirar a estos Pokémon insecto, cosa que Misty le aterra mucho y Tracey la califica como una gallina y Misty lo pisa molestamente.
