Ash, Misty y Tracey deciden tomar un descanso de tanto viajar de isla en isla, y paran en una gran ciudad en la Isla Ascorbia. De pronto oyen gritar a alguien ¡Fuego!; así que todos se dirigen hasta un almacén en llamas y deciden enviar a Squirtle y Staryu para ayudar a apagar el incendio con Chorro de agua, aunque sus esfuerzos no son efectivos. Entonces aparece un grupo de Wartortle que los salvan de que una viga en llamas les cayera y finalmente consiguen apagar el fuego.
