En este capitulo Ash, sus amigos se encuentran en la Isla Fairchild, la cual es conocida por ser habitada por Rhydon y Pidgeot de gran tamaño. Mientras van caminando se encuentran con una cesta de frutas por lo que Ash va a recogerla pero Misty lo detiene argumentándole que puede ser una trampa del Equipo Rocket, así que mejor van a un árbol de frutas cercano pero terminan cayendo en un agujero hecho por el Equipo Rocket.
