En su camino hacia Ciudad Olivo, Ash, Misty y Brock acampan en una cabaña de madera junto a un lago. Brock empieza a cocinar avena y Ash se queja de que siempre hay avena. Entonces Ash lo toca ya que no parecía responder y Brock se desmaya y lo llevan a la cama que hay en la cabaña. Ash cree que se enfermo a causa del cansancio y Misty cree que es solo un resfriado, Brock quiere seguir trabajando pero Ash y Misty lo convencen para que descanse. Mientras tanto, Ash y Misty intentan seguir la agenda de Brock como pulir a los pokémon roca, pero les resulta muy difícil cuando Ash intentó usar el chorro de agua de Totodile.
