Ash, Misty y Brock llegan al fin a Ciudad Trigal, Misty y Brock se sorprenden con las tendencias en moda, las chicas y la comida pero Ash les dice que vayan al gimnasio cuando Misty y Brock querían las hamburguesas, éste último dijo que era adecuado ya que los deberes son primero. Van al gimnasio y encuentran que está cerrado decepcionando a Ash y en eso deciden pasear por la ciudad a la Galería Camino Dorado.
