El regimiento Violeta, comandado por la Coronel Violeta, encuentra la Chii Shinchuu en un río, pero son atacados por un cocodrilo gigante y los nativos aborígenes Paku Paku. Mientras escapan hacia la base del ejército, la coronel es la única que logra sobrevivir y entrega la Bola de Dragón al General Red. En la Kame House Bulma crea una videocámara voladora con la que logra encontrar a Goku y se dan cuenta que el joven se encuentra en ruta a la base del ejército Red Ribbon. Bulma crea un teléfono y llama a Yamcha y compañía para ir a ayudar a Goku contra el ejército. Mientras tanto, el joven llega a la base del enemigo.
