Goku continua intentando atrapar a Karin. El gato le quita la Bola de Dragón de cuatro estrellas a Goku y la deja caer por la ventana hasta el suelo, por lo que el joven debe bajar y volver a escalar la torre. Tras un par de días persiguiendo a Karin, Goku comienza a imitar su respiración y movimientos hasta que logra leer los movimientos del gato y obtener la botella. Cuando Goku bebe el agua por fin, el gato le explica que no es más que simple agua corriente; que el verdadero secreto para volverse fuerte ha sido su fortaleza ganada al volver a trepar la torre y los intentos de conseguir la tinaja. Goku baja la torre preparado para enfrentarse de nuevo a Tao Pai Pai.
