Momentos después de su reencuentro se preocupan de que no ha llegado nadie, de repente aparece Goku con unas vestimentas raras haciendo que todos se sorprendan de lo mucho que ha crecido, pero siguen si llegar sus otros amigos, momentos antes de que se terminen las inscripciones del torneo de las artes marciales llegan Yamcha, Krilin, Chaoz y Tenshinhan alcanzando a inscribirse. Antes de que empiecen las preliminares se encuentran con el hijo de Piccolo.
