El episodio comienza con nuestros héroes entrando a un Centro Pokémon cuando Skitty sale de su Pokébola y empieza a hacer disturbios, cada uno trata de frenarlo y Max logra calmarlo con un juguete, en eso aparece otro chico quejándose del ruido y empieza a insultar a Max. La enfermera Joy los detiene y todos ven que ese chico también se llama Max y luego se va. Max se siente molesto por ese chico pero Joy le dice que al igual que él, también ama a los Pokémon y que suele venir a jugar con algunos Pokémon.
