En este episodio Ash y los demás se dirigían a Ciudad Fallarbor, para el concurso pokémon de May, a través de un desierto. Sin embargo no podían evitar el cansancio y el calor y se desmayan. Para su suerte el Camerupt de Vicky y Victoria los encuentra en el lugar donde se desmayaron. Victoria los lleva a su casa y la su familia les invitó a comer.
