El episodio comienza con un meteorito que llega al planeta Tierra y causa que se forme un cráter en un monte; el Club Pokémon del Misterio busca con una maquina y logran observar el meteorito. Atacan a éste con unos misiles y el meteorito comienza a brillar, en esos instantes emerge un Lunatone.
