Tras el combate de Ash contra Norman los chicos se encuentran con el Profesor Abedul que había quedado de encontrarse con el Profesor Oak, sin embargo este se había olvidado por completo y decide dirigirse al puerto en su carro para ir a recoger al Profesor Oak, llevándose con él a Ash y Brock.
