El episodio comienza con una tormenta donde una manada de Swablu y Altaria salen huyendo de su arbol que ardía en llamas, pero un Swablu es herido por culpa de la caída de varios árboles. A la mañana siguiente Ash, Brock, May y Max se encuentran perdidos en el bosque y se disponen a parar para almorzar; en eso ven el arbol todo quemado y es cuando se encuentran con el Swablu herido.
