En este episodio Ash, Brock, May y Max iban en dirección a ciudad Fallarbor/pueblo Pardal cuando se encontraron cayendo un Bagon de una colina mientras estaba practicando su ataque cabezazo golpeándose en las rocas. Ellos entendieron que quería combatir con ellos por eso Ash eligió a su Taillow. Bagon le atacó con cabezazo pero esquivó el ataque y Taillow usó ataque ala.
