Nuestros héroes se encuentran en un túnel siendo perseguidos por unos Slugma, Max le echa la culpa al Skitty de May quien atacó a los Slugma, logran salir con la ayuda de la cola férrea del Pikachu de Ash. Fuera de la cueva se encuentran con un Numel y el Skitty de May lo ataca pero el Numel ni se inmuta, May regresa a su Skitty dentro de la Poké Ball, el Pokémon se despierta y se va a comer.
