Treecko está tranquilo en el árbol y Ash le dice que tiene comida para él. En eso se oye un misterioso ruido proveniente de los arbustos (escuchado por Treecko), y era una serpiente misteriosa (es Sepiver) ve a nuetros héroes comiendo y a Torchic con la comida sujeta a su pico y Seviper estaba al acecho de Torchic mientras el pequeñín estaba corriendo en línea recta sin darse cuenta de nada y se tropieza con la cola de Seviper y se le cae la cida que sujetaba en su pico.
