Ash y sus amigos continúan su viaje hacia Ciudad Férrica, sin embargo Aura está muy aburrida y cansada. Ash se prepara para tomar otro descanso (dado que ya habían tomado un descanso antes). Max ve en el PokéNav un centro Pokémon algo más adelante y Aura se olvida de la idea del descanso. Después de que Brock lance accidentalmente a Aura contra un árbol, esta ve algo en el árbol. Pikachu se da cuenta de que todos los árboles están rasgados, Ash y Max piensan que hubo una batalla Pokémon (aunque nadie usaría "esa cosa" (una red) en una Batalla Pokémon).
