Después de un entrenamiento Ash, Brock, May/Aura, Max y sus Pokémon van cruzando una cueva de regreso al campamento cuando Corphish molesta a un Loudred salvaje el cual empieza a hacer alboroto. Brock ordena a Forretress usar giro rápido para hacer una salida, el Loudred choca con una roca y hace que a May se le caiga su Silcoon. Pikachu se da cuenta y va tras él, los demás Pokémon los siguen, y todos terminan cayendo en una corriente de agua y van a dar fuera de la cueva.
