Al final del capítulo anterior nos podemos percatar de que Ash, Misty, Brock y Pikachu han logrado salir del bosque, ya en camino a Ciudad Malva se encuentran con otra ciudad llamada Ciudad Florando, Misty opina que sería mejor descansar y dar una pequeña visita turística, al parecer a Togepi le gustó la idea ya que se vio feliz y alegre, en cambio a Brock no le parece buena idea ya que su gran actitud de "DON JUAN" opina que debería estar dando protección a todas las damas que habitan aquí, Misty responde que será mejor que las protejamos de él, Ash, sin tomar atención a lo que estos discutían, se da ánimos de continuar hacia esa ciudad.
