En este capítulo Ash y sus amigos llegan a Ciudad Malva y mientras están buscando el gimnasio, Pikachu se queda atrás oliendo unas flores y dos niños empiezan a abrazarlo y a agarrarlo de un lado a otro fuertemente diciendo quién lo había visto primero, luego, cuando Pikachu se siente muy presionado se prepara para hacer una descarga eléctrica pero Ash se los quita de encima a ellos y Pikachu lo electrocuta a él.
