Goku revela a Milk que ha tenido problemas para controlar su Ki, llegando a caer mientras volaba siéndole recomendado visitar a un doctor. Goku se teletransporta aunque con problemas, visitando por error a Bulma y Vegeta, Krilin, Arale y la torre de Karin, hasta llegar al planeta de Kaiōsama, quien le revela que sufre de un descontrol de Ki por haber usado el Kaio-ken en el torneo pasado. Goku vuelve a su hogar pero destruye su casa, yendo al hogar de Gohan para cuidar de Pan tras la ausencia de sus padres. La Banda de Pilaf secuestra accidentalmente a Pan, quienes viajan al espacio por error, pero Pan expulsa su Ki logrando volar por el espacio devolviendo a la Banda de Pilaf a la Tierra. Pan vuelve a su hogar volando, mientras que Goku y los demás se encontraban buscándola, finalmente creyeron que se encontraba durmiendo en la casa. Gohan y Videl vuelven a su hogar, y al ver a Pan esta dice su primera palabra siendo Chi (Abuelo).
