Piccolo ha muerto y Gohan se encuentra gravemente herido. En el planeta de Bils se ha acabado la comida, Wiss utiliza su báculo y se da cuenta de que algo ha ocurrido en la tierra. Al contactarse con Bulma, ella le informa que Freezer ha revivido y que asesino a Piccolo, Goku los busca con la teletransportación y gracias al último esfuerzo de Gohan, Goku logra encontrarlos. Al llegar, Goku traslada el cuerpo de Piccolo al templo sagrado y le pide a Goten y Trunks que vayan al templo, mientras que Vegeta asesina a Ginyu. Freezer decide empezar con su máximo poder y se transforma en su cuarta forma, aniquilando a todo su ejército solo para demostrar su poder.
