Gokū y Cell empiezan a desatar su poder dejando a todos los espectadores del torneo perplejos. Teniendo también las Cells de Ten Shin Han, Cell ataca a Gokū con el kikoho, así como con técnicas de Piccolo y de Freezer, pero Gokū logra librarse de todas ellas. Finalmente, Cell decide poner a prueba a su contrincante realizando un Kame Hame Ha con su máximo poder, Gokū temeroso de que pudiera dañar la Tierra, decide elevarse en el aire y esquivarlo gracias a la teletransportación. A continuación Cell le hace una demostración de su velocidad, que pilla completamente desprevenido a Gokū... ¡El combate se pone cada vez más interesante!
