El terrible Freezer se había apoderado de varias Dragon Balls mediante el uso de la fuerza. Harto de tanta crueldad, Gohan ayudado por Krilin acudió en auxilio de un niño de Namekusei, Dende. Perseguidos por Dodoria intentan desesperadamente escapar del enemigo, pero la aparición sorpresiva de Vegeta pone fin a la persecución. Vegeta y Dodoria luchan, mientras este último le confiesa al saiyajin de que el planeta Vegeta y la raza saiyajin fue exterminada por Freezer. Sin remordimientos, Vegeta acaba con Dodoria. A bordo de la nave espacial que debe conducirle a Namekusei, Gokū sigue entrenando incansablemente para enfrentarse al enemigo.
