Piccolo destruye la puerta de la habitación del tiempo dejando a todos aislados en esa dimensión, pero Gotenks se lo reprocha, justificando que tenía una técnica especial para derrotar a Buu. Éste se preocupa más por sus dulces que por la pelea provocándole un gran enfado, que logra hacer un agujero en la pared de la habitación del tiempo y salir pero Gotenks y Piccolo no lo alcanzaron a tiempo. El Supremo Kaiosama de hace 15 generaciones le da una bola de cristal a Gokū para que vea lo que sucede en el Templo Sagrado. Gotenks se ve obligado a mostrar su arma secreta: El Super Saiyano 3. Para sorpresa atónita de Piccolo, logran salir con suma facilidad. Gotenks, con su nueva transformación, se halla ahora dispuesto a derrotar a Buu.
