Como era de esperar, nuestros amigos han logrado superar las eliminatorias del Tenkaichi Budôklai y ya se encuentran preparados para disputar la fase final del torneo. Gokū le pide a Boo hacer trampa en los emparejamientos para poder enfrentarse a Oob (Uub), un misterioso chico que no es otro que la mismísima reencarnación humana del Boo original, contra el que se enfrentó hace diez años. Gokū quiere que en la pelea Oob expulse todo su poder pero como está nervioso por el miedo escénico que le produce la gran presencia de espectadores, Oob no puede, por eso Gokū lo insulta para provocar su furia.
