Goten y Trunks continúan aprendiendo la técnica de la Fusión, en esta ocasión gracias a la ayuda de Gokū y Piccolo, que se presta voluntario. Mientras tanto Boo se ha construido una casa muy particular desde donde pretende hacer su vida cotidiana y salir a destruir las ciudades de alrededor. Gohan continúa su entrenamiento con la Espada Z y en el palacio de Dende, Uranai Baba acaba de llegar para avisar a Gokū de que tiene que regresar al Más Allá. Su tiempo en la Tierra se ha terminado.
