En la Tierra, han pasado 10 meses en paz y armonía desde la pelea con Freezer. Están sucediendo algunos ataques en la Ciudad. Gohan se encuentra con Krilin, que lo invita a ir a Kame House junto con su novia Maron donde se hará una reunión con todos los amigos. En el Palacio de Kamisama, aparece Garlic Jr. ante Mr. Popo. Garlic Jr., quien luchó con Kamisama por el puesto de Dios, busca vengarse de Gokū y encierra a Mr. Popo. Luego, Garlic Jr. atrapa a Kamisama y libera la Neblina del Mal para que los humanos se conviertan en demonios.
